Requirements
to Join
1) Please
read the Introduction to NYC-ARECS EMS
2) Be at least
18 years old
3) Have one
of the following:
- EMT
certification
- Certified
First Responder
- American
Red Cross First Aid AND CPR card
- LPN/LVN
or RN license
- DD-214
showing Army 91B or similar MOS; Navy HM; USCG HS or EMT
4) Pass an
interview with NYC-ARECS leadership
5) Attend
a mandatory 'new member' in-service and equipment review (2.5
hours)
6) Sign a
Memorandum of Understanding detailing your Role and Responsibilities
7) Be ready
to have fun while helping your community!
